BRIEF
Garrixon is a footwear manufacturer located in Philadelphia, PA. Garrixon was first started in 2018, making one off custom shoes. They then moved on to working with big brands including Foot Locker, Puma and Diadora.
While working at Kicks USA, I got the opportunity to create the Garrixon logo. The CEO approached me to help with design and concept development for their new custom shoe manufacturing company. After finishing the logo, I had the opportunity to photograph custom sneakers and document the process of making them for the company's initial customers.
CHALLENGE
The challenge here was that the idea was so new that the team didn't know what direction to take it just yet. The only thing we had was the name and the idea of making custom shoes.

PROCESS
I went straight to picking out a bunch of fonts and doing a bunch of logo mock ups with each just to have a starting point and to see where the team was at. I then started to add in shoe making tools such as a french hammer and a cobbler plier. The team really liked the shoe making tools as the icon. So I went ahead and did more designs with the two.
The team really liked Moon Shiner font so I started to explore more with that font and the shoe making tools. The team picked out the tools to the left of the font and everyone agreed to that. So we went ahead and started making other assets with the logo.
